Congrats to SolarWinds on their successful IPO yesterday. It was the first Austin IPO since 2006 when Golfsmith went public. It was also the first venture backed IPO in over 9 months since Rackspace went public. Not enough attention is being paid to the fact that the last 2 venture-backed IPOs were Texas startups. Maybe its time to run for the hills after all.
